Molto si narra dell’imponente e orgogliosa isola della Sardegna, di gran parte di aree incontaminate e altre protette ma non tutti la attraversano per goderne di estasianti ed impossibili paesaggi donati dalla madre terra da condividere, gioirne con oculari orge visive che mai colmeranno l’insaziabile desiderio di bellezza.
Tanta bellezza da rispettare, da non violentare: è ciò si prova in località Capo d’Orso dove le imponenti rocce granitiche e la maestosa visibilità d’altura consentono l’approvvigionamento neuronale di paesaggi e scorci che lasciano l’indelebile segno nell’animo.
Inevitabile il desiderio di scalare le rocce ed i suoi gradini verso la Roccia dell’Orso, nome derivante dalla sagoma naturale che ben rappresenta l’animale, che domina la vista e sorveglia incessantemente le frontali Isola della Maddalena, Isola di Caprera, Isola di Santo Stefano, la Corsica e una innumerevole serie di insenature arricchite da roccia e sabbia fine che spesso si confondono tra le delicate e ossequiose onde sulla riva: una fusione d’arte naturale e amore reciproco che spesso non lasciano notare il loro rapporto per limpidezza marina che dona colori ancora più intensi al palato oculare ancor più incantato.
Scalando le rocce, verso la vetta, si notano fiori e piante inaspettate altrove come il Gigaro Sardo-Corso (spate lanceolate rosso-
violacee), la Salsapariglia (bacche rosse e lucide raccolte in grappoli), il Leccio (la cui corteccia era utilizzata per la concia delle pelli e le ghiande come mangime per i maiali), il longevo Olivastro e l’Erica (usata in passato per realizzare rudimentali scope o per preparare infuri diuretici e sedativi); i tipici uccelli d’altura quali il Corvo Imperiale, il Gheppio e la Poiana dominano dall’alto il promontorio, mentre i padroni terreni quali il Cinghiale Sardo, la Lepre Sarda e la Donnola Sarda scorrazzano quando il silenzio torna sovrano.
Much is told of the impressive and proud Sardinian island, much of unspoilt areas and other protected but not all of it crosses it to enjoy the extravagant and impossible landscapes donated by the mother earth to share, rejoice with eyeworthy visual organs that will never fill the Insatiable desire for beauty. Inevitable the desire to climb the rocks and its steps towards the Capo d’Orso (Bear’s Rock), a name deriving from the natural silhouette that represents the animal, overlooking the view and uninterruptedly watching the fronts of Isle of Maddalena, Caprera Island, Isle of Santo Stefano, Corsica and an innumerable series of creeks enriched by rock and fine sand that often blend between the delicate and obsequious waves on the shore: a fusion of natural art and mutual love that often leave their relationship not noticeable for marine limpidity gives even more intense colors to the even more enchanted eye palate.
By climbing the rocks, towards the summit, you can notice unexpected flowers and plants elsewhere such as the Gigaro Sardo-Corso (lanceolate purplish-red spathe), Salsaparilla (glossy, red berries in cluster), Leccio (its bark was used to the leather and its acorns were used to feed pigs), long-lasting Olivastrum and Erica (in the past it was to make brooms or to prepare infusions for their sedative and diuretic properties); the typical highland birds such as the Imperial Corvo, Kestrel and Poiana dominate the promontory, while landlords such as the Sardinian Boar, the Sardinian Lepre and the Sardinian Witch roam when the silence returns sovereign.
